The Project:
Electrical contractor services, on behalf of Guildmore, delivering high quality, sustainable new homes to match the local social rent and shared ownership housing need.
Part of Hackney Council’s housebuilding programme, the project includes the building of 25 new homes on the Frampton Park Estate, which was formerly the Frampton Arms pub. In addition, the building of 20 new build properties at Lyttelton House, which was previously a largely dilapidated building that was demolished and rebuilt.
Our team was proud to help Guildmore deliver Hackney Council’s vision, with a programme of complete electrical services including supply to each of the flats, carpark lighting, communal lighting, external lighting, broadband, installation and fixed wire testing.
The Challenge: Innovative Design
The Environtech team pushed the project pace throughout the complex COVID-19 crisis, responding with safe working practices in line with government social distancing guidelines.
Variations to the original project specification required adaptive thinking and our team delivered, with innovative design to respond to the client’s communal lighting brief.
The Results: On Track
Complete electrical installation and testing services were delivered within the Guildmore Hackney Council project.
- Supply to 45 flats
- Carpark lighting
- Communal area lighting
- LD2 fire alarms
- Fixed wire testing
“Knowledgeable, specialist team, happy to brainstorm on site to get around problems and keep project moving forwards. I was impressed by the team’s attention to detail and potential problems were caught early, before they impacted the programme.”
Dennis Callan, Lyttleton Project Manager, Guildmore
“There were challenges, but the Environtech team responded quickly. Good communication, resource when we needed it, and quick to adapt to the new COVID-19 safe working practices on site.”
