We’re celebrating National Apprenticeship Week and taking a moment to congratulate and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our Environtech apprentices.

Congratulations to Brandon – who is currently working hard at project Lingfield Lodge, in East Grinstead. Brandon says, “I have been working with the team checking completed work in each flat, ensuring no mistakes have been made and that nothing is missing. I’m learning how important high-quality workmanship is, and that everything has to be exactly as specified”.

Well done to Ciaran who has been showing how capable he is onsite at project Chelsea Court. We caught up with him and asked what he most enjoyed about his apprenticeship. “All of this has given me greater experience within first fixing flats, which is something I did not have as much experience doing. Working on my own means I have to adapt to different situations, and I’m getting pretty good at finding ways to pull cables around different obstacles”.

And last but by no means least, hats off to Akli. Akli, who first joined us as part of ENGIE’s work experience programme, has now returned as our newest Apprentice. Akli is undertaking Capital City College training in ‘Installation Electrician and Maintenance Electrician Level 3’ and is an outstanding addition to the team.

Jamie Orr, Environtech CEO says, “So many times I talk with people who don’t really appreciate the full value of an apprenticeship. It can put a youngster on the fast track to a very rewarding career, there are no limits to what you can achieve.”
